DÍA MUNDIAL DE LA MARIONETA

Lanzado en 2003 por la UNIMA, el Día Mundial de la Marioneta (DMM) es a la vez un verdadero instrumento de promoción de las artes de la marioneta y un proyecto que permite federar a los actores de la marioneta de un mismo territorio.

Este Día Mundial busca promover el arte de las marionetas defendiendo, entre otros objetivos:

  • el mantenimiento y la salvaguarda de las tradiciones y, al mismo tiempo, la renovación del arte de los títeres
  • el uso de la marioneta como medio de educación ética y estética

El Día Mundial de la Marioneta se celebra ahora en todo el mundo a través de sus Centros Nacionales y sus miembros.

¡Este día es una oportunidad para traer colectivamente y tan ampliamente como sea posible la diversidad de las artes de los títeres de hoy!

Es en esta perspectiva que se inscribe la iniciativa propuesta a partir de 2026: invitar a una gran figura internacional del mundo de la marioneta a pronunciar, además del mensaje y el póster, una conferencia magistral en Charleville-Mézières, sede de UNIMA Internacional, que será transmitida simultáneamente en línea a todo el mundo.

La personalidad invitada por UNIMA para 2026 es el gran maestro titiritero maliense, Yaya Coulibaly.

Este año, no habrá un video global, pero UNIMA anima a todos a celebrar el Día Mundial de la Marioneta a través de las redes sociales.

¡Un mensaje que nos conecta!

Cada año, desde 2006, se pide a una personalidad del sector artístico o cultural que escriba el mensaje del Día Mundial de los Títeres. Se trata de poner de relieve los valores que la UNIMA lleva y que se encuentran en este arte milenario, de llevar un mensaje de cohesión y de arrojar luz sobre este arte.

Mensaje del DMM 2026: Escrito este año por Yaya Coulibaly, se publicará a nivel mundial el 21 de marzo.

¿Qué podemos proponer para el Día Mundial de los Títeres?

Ya podemos usar lo que tenemos en común: el mensaje y el póster.

Entonces, este Día Mundial de los Títeres se celebra de múltiples formas. Cada uno se lo apropia a su manera y propone acciones de diferentes tipos:

  • Festivales,
  • muestra,
  • desfile de títeres,
  • exposiciones, instalaciones,
  • talleres para jóvenes y viejos,
  • casa abierta e improvisada,
  • lecturas del mensaje del Día Mundial de los Títeres,
  • noche de títeres

Creando una narrativa común

¡El Día Mundial de los Títeres es la oportunidad perfecta para crear una historia de múltiples manos!

  • Crear vínculos y hacer con las estructuras educativas y sociales de su territorio: escuelas, colegios, centros sociales, hospitales…
  • Imaginar con otras asociaciones culturales: museos, compañías, festivales, teatros, asociaciones de prácticas amateurs…
  • Asociar a los representantes elegidos de sus territorios, sus ciudades, sus regiones…
  • Hacer una herramienta de comunicación común con sus socios, con todos aquellos que propongan eventos, talleres, espectáculos, reuniones, exposiciones, cursos de formación, concursos… para este día a escala de una ciudad, un territorio, un país, un continente!
